	Activist Awards The 3rd Annual Spaghetti Dinner for the 99% held on January 29, 2014 celebrated the work of the SF 99% Coalition over the past year. Sponsored by Unitarian Universalists for Peace & Justice, a committee of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco, the program featured awards to outstanding community activists, who exemplify in their lives and their accomplishments, the goals of the SF 99% Coalition. Rev. David Sammons, senior minister, welcomed the audience, and the Activist Awards were presented by the program MCs Janet Weil and Vahid Razavi to the following individuals: End the Wars: Richard Becker of the ANSWER Coalition Care for the People: Joe Nicholson of the SF 99% Coalition, and an attorney Protect the Environment: Ruthie Sakheim of the Occupy Forum Care for the People: Restore the 4th Civil Liberties Organization, accepted by Michael Poon Lifetime Activist Achievement Award: Michael Lyon of the SF 99%, and the Gray Panthers
